On November 18, 2016, Asian-American Pacific Islander Alliance (AAPIA) hosted an event called Exotic Food Challenge. The purpose of this event was to give students a chance to discover and taste some exotic Asian dishes.
There were 5 students who signed up to compete in the challenge. Those who were able to finish all the dishes first won a prize. The food included durian, bitter melon, Korean spicy ramen, kimchi, and chicken giblets. The winner of the challenge was Jessica Skelton.
