Humans vs. Zombies game takes over campus

Humans+vs.+Zombies+game+takes+over+campus

Cassie Forsyth | Staff Writer

From Friday, Oct. 31 until Saturday, Nov. 2, Buena Vista University (BVU) students and professors participated in a campus wide game of tag, also known as Humans vs. Zombies (HvZ).

The game begins with one person as the original zombie who then tags other human players. Human players wear a bandana on their arm, and after turning into a zombie, they must move the bandana to their forehead. Humans can stun the zombies for ten minutes using nerf blasters or socks.

The game is moderated by juniors Zachary Schmidt and Myckeal Rake. The team creates missions throughout the weekend to keep players active and develop the game further.

The game ended with a zombie victory after all humans were tagged in a final mission on Sunday. See footage of the action below!
