Monday Motivation: Quote It!

Jadyn Andersen, Staff Writer

When a Monday rolls around and finishes, it allows you to have a sneak peak whether you will have a good or a bad week. Well for the third article of the series, I will be providing motivational quotes to get you through those bad days. We started off the series by talking about stress relief and how to cope with it while studying. The next topic was ways to relieve stress, whether it’s with studying or just life, because let’s face it…life can be hard. To start your week off I will be providing a top five list of quotes to inspire you and motivate you to have a strong week and why I believe you should keep them in the back of your head.

1. “Good, better, best. Never let it rest, ‘Til your good is better and your better is best.” St. Jerome

This quote is something that not many people talk about. In life, we strive to be the best we can but what we can’t do is give up or rest. We must not stop until we have reached our full potential and that is something everyone should live by.

2. “With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.” Eleanor Roosevelt

This is an amazing quote to never let a bad day define who you are. As one day passes and another comes, you are gaining a chance to start over and make the change you wish to see. Becoming the greater person that you are capable to become.

3. “Keep your eyes on the stars, and your feet on the ground.” Theodore Roosevelt

We should live life by looking forward and figuring out our life that lies ahead of us. Mondays are hard, but as Tuesday rolls around we can’t continue to look at the past if we had a bad day, we must keep dreaming and believing that great things will happen.

4.“If you can dream it, you can do it” Walt Disney

Everyone loves Disney, his passion to make everyone happy is what we can all admire. If you set your heart on something such as a school project and dream of the best grade, then by achieving it and stepping into the right direction you will be able to accomplish greater things than you ever imagined.

5. “If you’re going through hell, keep going.” Winston Churchill

Life is all about learning from mistakes. Everyone is going to have a bad day or a bad experience but we must live past it. We must go through the bad times in order to come out on top and be the strong individual we hope to become.

Mondays may be known as one of the worst days of the week…but they do not have to be. Yes it can be draining since we must wait another 5 days for the weekend but we can all get through it. When times get hard, check back on some of the motivational quotes to motivate and push you and remind you of all things you are capable of doing. Take the bad days and learn how to make them a positive one. Find your motivational quote and write it everywhere to remind you of the best person you can become and you will be able to crush Mondays and have an amazing week!
