How many inches of snow did we get again? It is that time of year, and students at Buena Vista University (BVU) are taking advantage of this cold weather. That is, to stay inside and binge watch Netflix.
There is obviously a seemingly endless list of movies and series to watch on Netflix or other similar services, but it’s always better to know what others are watching in order to make an informed decision on what you should watch.
Sophomore Taylor Chamberlin is a Netflix lover and she tells her top suggestions.
“I’ve watched Sons of Anarchy, Pretty Little Liars, Gossip Girl, Vampire Diaries, Reign, and the Walking Dead. Almost all of them have some sort of romance in them, so if someone is into that kind of thing, those would all be good for him or her,” Chamberlin said.
She has no particular show that she has not seen and desires to watch, but she has a favorite within the ones she has watched.
“I would kill for a billion seasons of Vampire Diaries to be put on,” Chamberlin said.
Another student, senior Tyson-Jay Domingo loves fantasy shows and anything involving fairytales and magic. Those are his go-to genres for binge watching.
“Once Upon A Time is all I watch right now. It takes a lot for me to become interested in TV shows and movies. I love Disney and fairytales and Once Upon A Time combines them. It’s kind of like the musical Into The Woods, which BVU is producing next semester!” Domingo said. “I’m also loving the cold weather because it puts me in such a happy mood.”
Whether you love the weather or hate it, the cold season is here to stay for a while, and you will more than likely want to stay in and watch some Netflix in your free time.
“It gives me something to do to get my mind off of school and work,” Chamberlin said.
