On Monday, Nov. 25, Buena Vista University’s (BVU) Art, Graphic Design, and Digital Media departments teamed up to host the annual iDoArt day for area high school students to visit campus and participate in art and media workshops led by BVU seniors. BVU students spend all semester planning and promoting the event and designing fun, engaging workshops to facilitate interest in high school students in the BVU Art, Graphic Design, and Digital Media departments. This year was the first year that digital media workshops were offered to students. The workshops covered topics such as encaustics, interviewing, logo design, and social media promotion strategies.
