Yesterday afternoon, Buena Vista University (BVU) students received an e-mail from The Office of the President announcing the tuition change for the 2015-2016 school year. In this announcement, President Moore explained the cost of higher education and the financial changes BVU will face.
“We are ever mindful of the balance between the first-class education you receive and what it costs to deliver such experiences,” wrote President Moore.
With that statement, BVU will be experiencing a three percent tuition increase for the 2015-2016 academic year, pushing prices from $39,188 to $40,364. This increase is smaller compared to recent years: 3.25% in 2014-2015 and 4% in 2013-2014.
