The athletic training room is said to have a friendly and caring environment according to Schoenherr.
“Our motto is great clinical athletic training through education,” Schoenherr said.
Schoenherr not only tends to student athletes, but also instructs for BVU’s Exercise Science program. She lectures Therapeutic Exercise and Recondition, Faculty and Event Management, and Clinical for Athletic Training.
“Everyone on staff wants to provide the best care that we can for the student athletes while also striving to provide a great learning environment for the athletic training students and student athletes,” Schoenherr said.
Schoenherr expresses great appreciation for her job but also states that it is difficult to find a good work and life balance.
“I love my job and I love the people I work with. I end up spending a lot of time in my office and just hanging around when I should go home,” Schoenherr said.
