Night-owls at Buena Vista University (BVU) had the opportunity to experience a total lunar eclipse, commonly known as a “blood moon” last night. The eclipse began at approximately 12:30 a.m. with the moon turning it’s copper color at around 2:00 a.m.
According to an article from CNN, there are four more opportunities to witness this unusual event between now and September of next year. After that, curious skygazers will have to wait until 2032.
