The Buena Vista University (BVU) football team tallied another win last Saturday at Decorah in an Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) contest again Luther College. The Beavers won the contest 37-14. Senior quarterback Bobby Brown lead the offensive attack with 229 passing yards to go along with two touchdowns. Freshman Tyler Stolen, last week’s IIAC Special Teams Performer of the Week, converted three field goals from 22, 28, and 29 yards out. On the defensive side of the ball, sophomore Kyle Arnold led with 11 tackles, while junior Derek Schwartz and senior Tanner Collins added seven tackles a piece. The Beavers return to the field this Saturday, Nov. 9th in an away contest against IIAC competitor Simpson College starting at 1 pm.
