On Wednesday, February 19th, Poetry Alive held a workshop for Buena Vista University students in Anderson Auditorium. The company performed live the night before, and then gave the opportunity to students the next night to learn acting skills, the art of poetry, and using their imagination. The ACES event included the students acting out a Langston Hughes poem in several different situations with the help of Travis McKinley and Jennifer Sisko from Poetry Alive. Above, the photo story depicts the entire night's events.
