We recently placed a submission box outside the servery asking students to tell us anonymously the story of their worst date ever. The responses we received were varied. Some were serious, others were funny, and some were downright crude. Here are the best submissions we received:

• I’m a vegetarian, and he took me to a steak house.
• We went to the mall. It sucked!
• Guy takes girl to friend’s shop and slobbers all over girl…gross.
• She dumped me before I could ask her out at the end of the date.
• He took me to dinner, a movie, and go-carting. When he dropped me off at home, he broke up with me and told me he was already dating another girl, who was a good friend of mine.
• I went to a movie with a guy and a bunch of friends, and he left to be with my friend. Wooty woot!
• I’m a vegetarian, and someone ordered me ribs when I was in the bathroom…
• He dumped me.

There were a few more submissions that were obviously fake but still made us laugh.

• Turns out, she was a he.
• This one time, my girlfriend farted in her sleep!
• I knocked her up!

No matter what your Valentine’s day plans are, we hope your future dates go much better than some of these students’.
