Pink-out on the court

During last weekend’s home basketball games, Buena Vista University fans were asked to “think pink.” BV Athletics and the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) hosted the PLAY 4KAY Breast Cancer Awareness Event. The event raised money to be donated to the WBCA Kay Yow Cancer Fund, which is named after former North Carolina State University head women’s basketball coach, Kay Yow, and is focused on raising money for scientific research to fight women’s cancers.

Fans were encouraged to wear pink to the men’s and women’s games in Siebens Fieldhouse on Saturday, February 9th. The event included raffles, activities, door prizes, as well as a silent auction.
