Storm Lake native Ashley Hammen presented The Empowerment Project, a documentary film she co-produced, at Buena Vista University (BVU) on the evening of Thursday, August 29 as an ACES event. The Empowerment Project focuses on inequality issues women still face in the U.S. through interviews with 17 extraordinary women in diverse careers.
