Every year the Buena Vista University (BVU) football team partners up with and invites kids and parents from around the Storm Lake community to trick-or-treat around campus.
“This is a fun and great experience to spend some time with the kids and parents from around the Storm Lake area and also creates a connection from BV to the community,” senior player Travis Munn said.
The players lead the children around campus to different places including the dorms and other buildings where there are BVU students and organizations handing out candy.
“The kids that come always have a good time and the parents really enjoy it too,” senior player Jake Hansen said.
The Trick-or-Treating takes place this Thursday, Oct. 29 and begins at 6 p.m. Aside from getting free candy the children and parents are also welcomed to participate in activities that will be held in the Dows Conference center.
