I have struggled with body image my whole life. Every time I look in the mirror, I find myself analyzing every part of my body and thinking about everything that I want to change. I know that I am not the only one who struggles with body image. Society tells us what we have to look like in order to be beautiful through all types of media. According to “Body Image Statistics” on Statistic Brain, about 80% of women say images of women in the media makes them feel insecure. Seeing what society defines as beautiful all over social media, television, and other forms of media can make us want to do anything it takes to change ourselves. Statistic Brain states that the annual revenue is $55,400,000,000. We let society and media convince us that we are ugly and need to change. Stop listening! You are beautiful just the way you are. Do not let society tell you otherwise.
