I'm Allyssa, & I'm one of the Editors-in-Chief of The Tack! As a senior, I am pursuing a major in Digital Media with tracks in Communication and Graphic Design.  As well as being a member of The Tack, I am also the secretary of the Society of Collegiate Journalists, a member of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society, and am a media specialist for a few sports teams on campus.  I have previously been involved in Dance Team and Track in my first two years, but I have decided that I want to put that aside for the moment and focus on the passion I have for creative expression and interaction with people (basically, I really like to talk as well as write and design).   I love how The Tack Online has provided me with numerous connections on and off of campus and has broadened my writing horizons.  My talented staff members have been essential in my writing journey. I never would have come into contact with countless fantastic individuals without writing articles for this organization.  I have fallen in love with the way words piece themselves together into a story that has the potential to captivate the world.
